Bre and Kielan's Wedding Day

We had the pleasure of attending Bre and Kielan's wedding as honored guests on Saturday 30th July. It was a gorgeous event highlighted by the Summer sunshine and the fantastic scenic view. The setting at Mill Bay reminded Nancy and I of Poets Cove on Pender Island some three years ago. The ceremony itself was beautiful and included the release of Monarch butterflies by the Page Boys and Flower Girls. This begged the question how do you coax a butterfly into a little, white box - answers on a postcard. Another highlight from the event (well, for me anyway) was the "pick & mix" sweet (candy) selection that was situated very close to our dining table.

Many congratulations to Bre and Kielan and all our best wishes for your future happiness as Husband and Wife.

New Challenge Idea! said...

I have an idea for a new challenge to aid in the city points authority decision regarding the best location.

We need to have a 24 hour period where we all have to take 3 photos which put your case forward for why your location is best. These will then with the help of Mr S be posted on the blog for votes.

The rules should be that the photo can only be taken by the entrant and must be taken with the defined 24 hour period. Proof will be needed. This ensures that the photos arent of locations not easily accessible and are a part of everyday life. More rules may be needed but you get the idea.

What do you think?

Great idea for a new challenge and we would certainly take part for Vancouver. If everyone else is up for it, then we just need to agree a date. I will happy to post all the entries on the blog for display and review. Who gets to be the judge though?
